Industrial Park

Historically, forestry and agriculture have played a strong role in the economic fortunes of Meriwether County. Today, a diversified industrial base complements those industries as components of our economic landscape.

With four industrial parks strategically located throughout the county; Greenville, Woodbury, Manchester and our newest, Meriwether Park located on Highway 54 in northern Meriwether County offers the sites, infrastructure, location and leadership to meet the needs of business and industry. Meriwether Park consists of approximtely100 acres of land availalbe with infrastructure and located one mile from I-85. Meriwether Park is home to our newest, largest employer, Mando America.  Our close proximity to KIA Motors Manufacturing of America facility is very important to our county's industrial growth.

Led by an agressive Meriwether County Industrial Development Authority, our county boasts a pro-business environment. The Authority works closely with the county's Board of Commissioners; the Water and Sewerage Authority; the Airport Authority and the Chamber of Commerce to present a unified leadership ready to work with relocating industry to our parks. We strive to work together with our existing indsutries as their needs grow. The Authority is also a member of the joint development authority with fast growing metro Atlanta counties Fayette and Coweta.
